The legislation would also prohibit Medicare from covering these treatments for minors and would require the government to exclude providers who furnish such treatments from participating in the Medicare program, effective 90 days after enactment. Additionally, the bill would ban all federal funding for gender-related medical treatments to minors across all federal health programs.
