The FORK Act of 2026 establishes a pilot program to help rural areas deliver summer meals to students in need by providing grants to schools and service institutions that want to purchase, repair, or retrofit vehicles for meal distribution. Recipients must report on how many sites and children they served, and the Department of Agriculture will provide technical assistance and share best practices across participating programs.
