Congress has authorized $3 million for each of fiscal years 2026-2027, followed by $6 million annually from 2028 through 2030 and beyond. The legislation also requires USAID to report on its previous bicycle-related projects from 2022-2025 within 30 days of enactment, and then submit annual reports on ongoing program activities, including information on bicycles distributed and outcomes achieved for participants.
