Grant recipients must spend at least 5 percent of funds on recruiting students and training faculty to better prepare them for agricultural careers. The bill aims to strengthen the agricultural workforce, boost industry competitiveness, and improve worker retention across the sector. The Department of Agriculture must implement the program by January 31, 2026.
