The Gateway Partnership Act authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to enter into agreements with the Gateway Arch Park Foundation to host private events at Gateway Arch National Park, including in facilities like the Arch Visitor Center and Old Courthouse. The Foundation, as the park's official philanthropic partner, would be able to hold exclusive private events under terms designed to protect the park's resources, including restrictions on event frequency, required liability insurance, and limitations on timing to prevent disruption of public access. The bill requires the Foundation to pay fees covering all costs associated with the private events, including maintenance, wear and tear, and administrative expenses. The agreement must ensure that private events remain compatible with the park's purposes and do not degrade its integrity or prevent public use. Nothing in the legislation prevents the National Park Service from continuing to host its own events or issue permits to other organizations.
