The Resilient Coasts and Estuaries Act of 2025 establishes a new federal program to protect and restore coastal and estuarine areas threatened by development, climate change, and degradation. The bill authorizes $47 million annually for fiscal years 2025 through 2029 to fund the program and establishes new requirements for research, education, and coastal training activities at these reserves, while allowing existing commercial and recreational uses to continue.
