This bill directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to allow Members of Congress to use VA facilities for meeting with their constituents. The VA Secretary, working with the General Services Administration, must identify available spaces within VA buildings and establish regulations within 90 days of the bill's enactment. Members would pay rent at rates comparable to standard government office space rates, funded through their official allowances. The regulations prohibit campaign activities, political advocacy, unauthorized recording of veterans and staff, and facility use during the 60 days before federal elections, while also protecting the VA's normal operations and security. The bill essentially creates space for elected officials to conduct constituent services and hold in-person meetings at VA facilities where veterans already gather.
