The legislation prioritizes funding for underserved populations, including low-income communities, racial and ethnic minorities, immigrant communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, young caregivers under 35, and caregivers with disabilities. The bill authorizes $10 million annually for five years (fiscal years 2026 through 2030) to carry out these grant programs.
