This Senate resolution congratulates Louisiana State University in Shreveport for their historic baseball achievement in 2025. The LSU Shreveport Pilots completed the first undefeated season in college baseball history with a perfect 59-0 record and won the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Baseball World Series championship. The team defeated Southeastern University of Florida 13-7 in the championship game held in Lewiston, Idaho, capturing the first national title in any sport in the school's history. The resolution recognizes the outstanding contributions of the entire team, including tournament MVP Isaac Rohde and head coach Brad Neffendorf, and requests that copies be sent to university leadership. This is a ceremonial resolution that does not involve any funding or create new programs, but formally acknowledges the team's unprecedented accomplishment.
