This concurrent resolution directs Congress to hold a joint session in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 2, 2026, to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The special session will take place at Independence National Historical Park, marking only the third time since 1800 that Congress has convened outside of Washington, D.C.
