The database must be updated daily with archived historical data made available annually, while protecting detainees' personal identifiable information. Additionally, the bill prohibits DHS from discontinuing or reducing operations of its Office of the Immigration Detention Ombudsman and Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties. The legislation does not specify separate funding amounts but notes that operations depend on available appropriations.
