This bill requires large data center operators to report their energy and water consumption to state governments or federal agencies. The bill establishes penalties of $20,000 per day for operators who negligently fail to report to federal agencies, with fines adjusted for inflation every three years, and allows the EPA and Secretaries to charge fees on reporting companies to cover implementation costs.
