The bill requires the State Department to create and maintain a secure, centralized database tracking Afghan applicants and beneficiaries, with quarterly reports to Congress on processing timelines, pending cases, and outcomes. The authorization for these efforts lasts for five years from the bill's enactment, though Congress can extend the database maintenance beyond that period if eligible Afghans remain to be resettled.
