The land comes with important restrictions: the city can only use it for public purposes, and the federal government retains an easement for the Bonneville Shoreline Trail; if the city violates these terms, the land reverts back to federal control. The conveyance is made by quitclaim deed and is subject to any valid existing rights on the property.
