The bill provides $15 million annually through 2030 for state health insurance assistance programs that help seniors understand Medicare options, $15 million yearly for area agencies on aging that connect older adults to local services, $5 million annually for aging and disability resource centers that coordinate support services, and $15 million per year for efforts to inform seniors about federal and state benefits they may qualify for. Overall, the legislation allocates $50 million each fiscal year from 2026 through 2030 to expand outreach and assistance services targeting lower-income elderly Americans. The bill was introduced in November 2025 and referred to the House Ways and Means Committee and the Energy and Commerce Committee for consideration.
