H.R. 9718
The Reshoring American Manufacturing Act of 2026 directs the Small Business Administration to create and maintain a webpage helping small businesses move their manufacturing operations back to the United States. Within 60 days of enactment, the SBA's Office of Manufacturing and Trade must launch this webpage, which must include contact information for relevant SBA offices and partner organizations, a free tool to help small businesses find entities that can assist with onshoring their manufacturing, and other useful resources. The SBA must seek annual input from its Office of Advocacy to keep the webpage updated and effective for four years. The bill also requires the SBA to study and report to Congress on the webpage's effectiveness two years after launch, with updated reports submitted annually through the fourth year. The entire program, including all requirements, automatically ends four years after the law takes effect.
