This bill requires the Secretary of State to submit annual reports to Congress assessing whether the Polisario Front, a militant group in Western Sahara, has cooperated with Iranian-backed terrorist organizations. The reports must examine whether the Polisario Front has received military aid, weapons, drones, air defense systems, or intelligence from designated Iranian terrorist groups or intermediaries over the preceding year. If the Secretary of State finds evidence of such cooperation, the President must automatically impose sanctions within 30 days, including designating the Polisario Front as a foreign terrorist organization and freezing its assets in the United States. The first report must cover the ten-year period before the law's enactment, with subsequent reports covering the period since the previous report was submitted. The bill was introduced in July 2026 and referred to the House Committees on Foreign Affairs and the Judiciary.
