The Winner

If you live in Washington's 6th U.S. House District, you will continue to be represented in Congress by Rep. Emily Randall (D-WA), who has been declared the winner of the congressional race, according to the Associated Press. The Associated Press called the race on Nov. 3.

According to unofficial results reported as of Nov. 5, Randall received 167,165 votes, or approximately 64.4%, defeating Republican Teresa Fox, who received 91,835 votes, or 35.4%. Another 456 votes, or 0.2%, were cast for write-in candidates. Randall led Fox by 75,330 votes, or approximately 29 percentage points. Randall, who entered Congress in January 2025, will serve in the majority for the first time. The Democratic takeover will give her party control over House committee leadership, the legislative agenda and congressional oversight of President Donald Trump's administration.
