The alliance for retired americans educational fund (araef) is a social welfare organization devoted to research and educational issues of importance to seniors, retirees and their families. The araef focuses primarily on three program areas: (i) research and development of written materials that DEAL with public policy issues that affect retirees; (II) education on public policy issues that affect retirees; and (III) working with other not-for-profit organizations on issues that affect seniors, retirees and their families. The following programs describe each of these activities in greater detail.
