The purposes for which it is formed are to promote interests of the dairy industry in michigan; to cooperate with other states and organizations in promoting dairy products; to promote adequate use and consumption of MILK, butter, cheese, ICE cream and other dairy products; to conduct or promote research work for the purposes of developing and discovering health, food, dietetic and industrial uses for products of MILK or its derivatives which will promote consumption of dairy products and to do ALL such things as may be useful, necessary or convenient for the accomplishment of the foregoing purposes, or ANY of them, provided however, that said corporation shall not be operated for pecuniary profit.
