The fund was established to receive contributions and conduct fund-raising activities in order to raise money to pay organizations that are described in section 501(c)(3) and exempt from taxation under 501 (a). The fund accepts contributions from employees of american airlines, INC. And envoy, INC. The fund also accepts money raised by such employees through fundraisers such as BAKE sales, dress DOWN DAYS, used book sales, ETC. The money is then distributed to the organizations designated by the employees.
