Community partners (the organization") is a california nonprofit public benefit corporation that helps foster, launch and grow creative solutions to community challenges. Through fiscal sponsorship, the organization provides the benefits of TAX-exempt status, a full range of back-office services, and expert guidance to the 181-plus projects working under its umbrella. As an intermediary, the organization combines its robust financial and administrative services with extensive nonprofit development experience to help foundations, government agencies and other institutions create and manage complex initiatives, build grantee capacity, and supports other efforts to advance the public good. The organization's knowledge sharing activities are designed to capture and disseminate nonprofit BEST practices, as well as generate innovative ideas and perspectives to strengthen leaders, build the field, and serve as a springboard for an effective civil society. Across ALL program areas, the organization works toward its organizational vision: a vibrant society in which individuals and institutions use knowledge, resources and relationships to build equitable, democratic and thriving communities. The organization's work spans a wide range of fields, including civic engagement, arts and culture, education, social justice, health, public policy, social services and youth.
