About

The david lynch foundation (DLF) addresses the epidemic of trauma and toxic stress among at-risk populations through the implementation of the evidence-based transcendental meditation (TM) technique. DLF has supported more than 1,000,000 children and adults worldwide, with a focus on urban youth in underserved schools, veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress and their families, women and children who are survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and people in recovery from alcohol and substance abuse. DLF has also worked with the homeless, prison populations, people living with HIV/AIDS, and others.the foundation also organizes and hosts scientific and professional conferences, town hall meetings, and public festivals to educate leaders and the general public about the benefits of TM and the work of the foundation. In addition, DLF partners on high level research to assess the effects of TM and to guide our work.
