This committee is a separate segregated fund (SSF) sponsored by the entity above. Under federal election law, corporations, unions, and trade/membership associations can't give directly to candidates, but they can sponsor a connected PAC that can. The sponsor pays the committee's overhead; political donations themselves come from members or executives, not the sponsor's treasury.
