The finger lakes AREA community endowment ("community endowment") was organized to raise funds from private and public sources for AREA philanthropic purposes and to allocate and distribute funds to charitable organizations that qualify as exempt under the law, section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of ANY future united states internal revenue law), or individuals who qualify as suitable beneficiaries under the law.
