To provide educational and other measures for the safe use of the highways, streets and transportation systems. To cooperate with other national and state organizations in their efforts to establish a continued highway, street and transportation program. To promote the BEST interests of the highway and transportation system industry and profession throughout the nation. To combat unfair practices and encourage the spirit of cooperation among contractors engaged in ALL branches of highway and transportation system construction. To ACT as a representative BODY before various groups and to assist contractors in maintaining their organizations on the basis of greatest efficiency.
