The organization's programs work to relieve and reduce unemployment, promoting and providing for additional employment opportunities, encouraging the creation and maintenance of job opportunities by attracting new industry and by facilitating retention of existing trades, particulary small manufacturers such as woodworkers, furniture makers and FINE artists by finding and providing affordable space in which to carry out their small craft businesses. In this way, the organization is attracting new industry to a community or AREA and lessening the burdens of government and acting in the public interest.
