To establish, maintain, conduct, and operate a hospital or hospitals related, associated and complimentary facilities and services, such as, but not limited to, skilled nursing, extended care, outpatient care, home care, and other health care programs, activities, services and facilities. To carry on any educational activities related to rendering care to the sick and injured, or to the promotion of health. To promote and carry on scientific research related to the care of the sick and injured, or to the promotion of health. To participate in any activity designed and carried on to promote the general health of the community. To operate and maintain this corporation and its assets for the benefit of the communities served by Grossmont Healthcare District, a political subdivision of the State of California, organized pursuant to Local Hospital District Law (Division 23 of the California Health & Safety Code), and which is located in San Diego County, California. Generally do anything and everything necessary, expedient or incidental to the foregoing.
