About

(expenses $ including grants of $) digital finance. On digital finance issues, the IIF began partnering with the BIS on project agora, a global exploration of how tokenization CAN enhance the functioning of wholesale cross-border payments. This effort is part of our broader work on payments, including with the FSB and the G20. We continued to advocate for a more pragmatic approach to digital assets, and to raise risks in retail CBDC projects. The IIF has established itself as the leading industry partner informing policymaker efforts as they pursue new platforms for tokenized deposits, tokenized assets, and new global standards for digital assets. Recognizing the potential transformative impact of AI and new technologies, this year, the IIF launched the AI/ML experts group to engage industry leaders and increased our focus on quantum preparedness.
