"to educate, inspire, inform, entertain and stimulate the exchange of ideas for the enrichment of the public" begins with the broadcast of PBS programs that highlight issues of national importance, continues with the production of our EMMY award winning local programs that explore the critical concerns of our region as well as offer possible solutions, and further touches our community through our educational outreach programs; with a focus on improving reading, literacy and internet safety. This multi-faceted approach allows the community to become active and empowered citizens equipped with the knowledge necessary to improve their quality of life.
