The purpose of the organization is to expand public and private sector knowledge, expertise and contacts for the offshore wind industry so that they may participate in the global offshore wind supply chain and maximize member participation in the development, construction, maintenance and operation of the offshore wind industry and complimentary based projects.
This 501(c)(3) elected the 501(h) safe-harbor — lobbying expenditures are capped under a clear dollar formula instead of the "insubstantial part" standard.
