Supporting organization to the state of washington. The organization operates in support of the state of washington by carrying out the following activities: (1) to serve as a supporting ORG described in section 509(a)(3) of the code authorized to benefit, perform the fuctions of, and/or assist in carrying out the purposes of the state of washington or a political subdivision or agency thereof, including without limitation ANY county, city, or public institution of higher education within the state of washington; (2) to assist in the erection and maintenance of public buildings, monuments, facilities, housing, or works; (3) to combat community deterioration and to carrry out neighborhood revitalization and community economic development; (4) to promote social welfare and education through COOP programs with GOV entities and other community organizations; (5) to undertake activities which lessen the burdens of government; and (6) to carry on other charitable activities allowed by law.
