Today, we remember those we lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and make sure a new generation understands why we promised we would never forget.
September 11, 2001 is the day that changed our nation forever. Join me in remembering the fallen and honoring those who stared terrorism in the face and refused to bend. Their sacrifices have preserved freedom and security for generations to come. On this day 25 years later, America remembers and vows to #NeverForget.

This National Police Week, we salute the brave men and women who serve, but we’re especially proud to honor the K9s who stand alongside them. These loyal, hardworking dogs protect, serve, and risk their lives every day to keep our communities safe. Tragically, 23 brave police K9s made the ultimate sacrifice last year. We must do more to ensure these heroes get the protection they deserve, and that’s why I introduced the Leo K9 Protection Act.
