Today would have been Charlie Kirk’s 33rd birthday. He was taken from us far too soon, but his impact on Arizona and this nation will never be forgotten. We will carry forward the work he started. https://t.co/IPHgXNq4XP

Border arrests down 95% under President Trump. The Trump Effect proves what we’ve always said: secure the border, enforce the law, and Americans win. Arizona is safer today thanks to America First leadership. https://t.co/QjtvZNROFk

For years they called us conspiracy theorists for saying major banks were systematically de-banking conservatives. The @USOCC just proved it. This was never a theory. It was a coordinated effort to punish political opponent. Thanfully, this administration put a stop to it. https://t.co/E12GXGaNAW

The Houthis’ attacks on Saudi civilians, including the killing of an American, are an outrage that demands a forceful response. Allies must stand united against Iran & its proxies with maximum strength & deterrence, the era of radical terrorist proxies must end. https://t.co/i8bdG9GjoL

A 40-year military widow in Sun City West spent two years trying to update her VA compensation direct deposit after her longtime credit union made the change nearly impossible. Repeated calls to the VA and the bank went nowhere. Congressman Hamadeh’s office resolved it in ten minutes. This is the kind of result our team works to deliver for military families every day. https://t.co/KqQDlqolhU

A new poll shows 55% of American voters are concerned about socialist candidates running for and winning office. They’re right to be. Socialists don’t build anything, they pillage, destroy, and leave misery in their wake. We’ve already watched it happen in blue cities. These midterms are the chance to stop that rot from spreading across the country. https://t.co/y8lJQ2gsRc

Thank you to this lifelong Arizonan from Surprise for highlighting Congressman Hamadeh’s work on water security. In his first term, he joined a bipartisan letter pushing emergency Colorado River infrastructure and conservation funding, warned Interior Secretary Burgum that proposed post-2026 rules would unfairly burden Arizona, voted for the Water Resources Development Act of 2026, and secured language in the defense bill to protect Fort Huachuca’s water supply. He’ll keep fighting for Arizona’s water future. https://t.co/BpFGqPj3Of

Immediate help. Long-term support. No bureaucracy. That is what backing our first responders looks like. We will keep standing with them. 🇺🇸

Press Release
Congressman Hamadeh Encourages Students to Submit Applications for Service Academy Nominations Before Deadline

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Abe Hamadeh (AZ-08) is encouraging graduating high school students in Arizona’s 8th Congressional District who are interested in attending one of the nation’s prestigious U.S. service academies to submit their applications for a congressional nomination before the October 30, 2026, deadline. Completed application packages for the Class of 2031 must be submitted to Congressman Hamadeh’s office no later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026. Congressman Hamadeh looks forward to nominating exceptional student leaders, scholars, and athletes from Arizona’s 8th Congressional District to four of the nation’s five U.S. service academies: U.S. Military Academy (West Point) — West Point, New York; U.S. Naval Academy — Annapolis, Maryland; U.S. Air Force Academy — Colorado Springs, Colorado; and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy — Kings Point, New York. The fifth institution, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut, does not require a congressional nomination for admission. “As a former U.S. Army officer, I understand firsthand the tremendous honor and responsibility that come with serving in our nation's Armed Forces,” stated Congressman Hamadeh. “Our service academies represent the very best of American military tradition, providing an exceptional education while developing the leadership, character, and discipline necessary to serve our great nation. It is a distinct privilege to help outstanding young men and women from Arizona’s 8th Congressional District pursue their dreams of attending one of these prestigious institutions.” Admission to a U.S. service academy is among the most competitive and prestigious educational opportunities available to graduating high school students. In addition to receiving a world-class education and extensive leadership training, graduates accept a commitment to serve their country following graduation. Most graduates are required to serve a minimum of five years on active duty, although service obligations vary by academy and program. While a congressional nomination is an essential step in the admissions process for four of the five academies, it does not guarantee an appointment. Each academy makes its own final admissions decisions based on academic achievement, leadership potential, physical fitness, character, and other qualifications. Students seeking a congressional nomination for the Class of 2031 must submit their completed application packages to Congressman Hamadeh’s district office by 3:00 p.m. on October 30, 2026.
