Breast cancer will impact 1 in 8 women in their lifetime. From extending the Breast Cancer Research Stamp to working on bipartisan bills like the Access to Breast Cancer Diagnosis Act, which would close the cost gap for diagnostic testing, I’m focused on making sure women can get the care they need. Visited @BEPgov's Western Currency Facility in Fort Worth with Acting Director Michael Brown. Texas plays a big role in how America’s money gets made. This facility prints more than half of the nation’s currency order for the Federal Reserve System. The work of this facility goes beyond printing; the Bureau also helps the public by replacing damaged currency. Fun fact: check your wallet. If a bill has the letters “FW” on it, it was printed right here in North Texas. Bills without it were printed in Washington, D.C..
I joined my Texas colleagues to urge the members of the Presidential Commission on the United States Space Academy to establish the U.S. Space Academy in Texas. Texas’s history of space innovation, supportive infrastructure, and many top industry leaders make it the ideal location for ensuring American dominance in space exploration.
