Trump withdrew funding for life-saving health research, including programs at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania. Not only is this illegal, but it's immoral. My Congressional Power of the Purse Act would stop this callous power grab.

President Trump doesn't have any excuse, and Americans are out of patience. The reality is he's been a terrible president for the economy. Americans deserve leaders in Washington who care about getting our economy back on track.
Regular Americans are working hard and getting less, as inflation eats away at their earnings. This is a flashing red light for the health of our economy.
For the cost of his Iran war, Trump could have extended the enhanced Affordable Care Act tax credits and kept premiums down for millions of Americans. But everyone knows he doesn't actually care about lowering costs. This president only offers publicity stunts and forever wars.
Under Donald Trump, the dream of homeownership is becoming further out of reach for too many Americans. I'm willing to work with anyone who's serious about lowering costs for families and getting our national debt under control.
Americans are sick and tired of President Trump subjecting them to his taxpayer-funded vanity projects. Americans deserve a president who cares more about lowering their costs than promoting himself.
