Author of the SAVE Act here. Talarico lied to this man’s face. He’s on the record fully aware of the bill and called Voter ID efforts racist. Talarico would no doubt break from millions of Texans who support Voter ID and align with Schumer in a heartbeat. Don’t buy it.

Rep. Roy is asking HHS Secretary Kennedy for his department to further investigate CAIR and several other Islamic groups for their potential abuse of taxpayer-funded grants and ties to terrorism. Under Secretary Kennedy’s leadership, HHS has decisively fought against suspected fraud and misuse of taxpayer dollars at hands of opportunistic groups like CAIR. Let’s keep the investigations going. Hold bad actors accountable. Protect taxpayers. https://t.co/xa7U6i7hjz

🚨 NEW: Rep. Roy is demanding answers after FDA pushed its review of Biden’s mail-order abortion pill policy to March 2027, despite assurances of action by Fall 2026. Congress cannot indefinitely fund implementation of Biden-era rules that expanded access to abortion pills used to kill unborn children. If the FDA won’t act, Congress must. The H-1B visa system has been abused for its nearly forty-year history, allowing employers to routinely sideline American STEM workers in favor of cheap foreign labor. Rep. Roy joined @RepGosar and 11 other Members of Congress in calling for an end to H-1B visa abuse. https://t.co/3W9lLlhkMm

Press Release
Rep. Roy Asks HHS to Investigate CAIR, Islamic Groups for Potential Abuse of Taxpayer Grants and Terrorism Ties

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Chip Roy (TX-21) sent a letter to Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy Jr. asking his department to further investigate the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and several other Islamic groups for their potential abuse of taxpayer-funded grants and ties to terrorism. The letter asks HHS to investigate whether these groups “meet the standards for suspension and debarment under federal regulations” after “new research suggests that HHS funding of terrorist-linked organizations was much more widespread than previously understood.” The letter continues: “A recent study found nearly $80 million in HHS-originated grants to extremist groups, many with ties to foreign terrorists. The overwhelming majority were approved during the Biden-Harris administration and included cash handouts to Afghan immigrants and $14 million in grants to radical foreign groups.” Read the full letter here. The Daily Signal wrote an exclusive report on the letter, which you can read here. Co-signers of the letter include: Representatives Michael Cloud (R-TX), Randy Weber (R-TX), Buddy Carter (R-GA), Randy Fine (R-FL), Clay Higgins (R-LA), Keith Self (R-TX), Andrew Clyde (R-GA), and Mary Miller (R-IL). Rep. Roy’s Other Actions on CAIR: On April 27, Rep. Roy sent a letter to Secretary Kennedy Jr. urging HHS to suspend funding for CAIR and its affiliates and initiate debarment proceedings after a DOJ investigation found suspected misuse in federal grants by CAIR. On June 10, following the letter, Secretary Kennedy Jr. announced his department opened an investigation. Under Secretary Kennedy’s leadership, HHS has decisively fought against suspected fraud and misuse of taxpayer dollars at hands of opportunity groups like CAIR. Additionally, on April 9, Rep. Roy introduced the Designating Hamas Affiliates in America Act of 2026 to designate the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist Organization, blocking its assets and prohibiting U.S. persons from interacting with the organization.

Talarico is laying low, hoping Texans don’t notice his abysmal voting record and positions… divesting from Texas energy production, attacking law enforcement, and siding with leftists on every issue on their agenda… Texas can’t afford that record for 6 years in the Senate https://t.co/hgmu79L2MF

Why is Talarico courting oil and gas workers in his latest ad? Because if Texans knew the truth about his record leading the charge against Texas energy, they'd never support him. He's a radical leftist, literally leading protests against Texas oil and gas jobs https://t.co/UgB0RlxSX2
