75% of Americans think President Trump has prioritized his business interests over the country since taking office in 2025, according to a new poll. Americans want to know if Trump and his family are profiting off the Presidency. Democrats are determined to find out. https://t.co/m93c2JGsnn
What a mistake. Trump’s decision to ease sanctions on Russian diesel will do little to lower U.S. fuel prices but a lot to fund Russia’s war against our ally Ukraine. The simplest way to bring prices down is to end the war with Iran once and for all. https://t.co/IpaHm68nhB
This morning’s inflation report showed inflation increased substantially last month. I just want to remind people: It didn’t have to be this way. Inflation was trending down for over two years before Trump took office. It was projected to fall to 2.1% in 2026, near the Fed’s target. Trump could have just stayed the course. Instead, his senseless tariffs and dumb war have shot inflation back up, with no relief from high prices in sight.
Just days ago, Trump eased sanctions on Russian diesel and claimed Russia agreed to stop attacking energy infrastructure. After Russia’s massive attacks on Ukraine’s energy facilities last night, it’s clear they took Trump’s money and ran. What a weak, weak President. https://t.co/u32kHkf5B4
If only Trump showed as much passion for ending the war and lowering costs as he does for his ballroom and helipad.
On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor Native Americans’ enduring contributions as our nation’s first inhabitants. May we continue to celebrate their histories, cultural heritage, traditions, and their legacies for generations to come.
When Donald Trump took office and he had the opportunity to lower costs, his actions did the opposite. Always remember that. https://t.co/IyHj4zn9Fw
Understand what this means: Trump knows the war is causing prices to rise, he’s afraid voters will punish him in the midterms if they rise further, so instead, he’s waiting until after the election to double down on his war. He’s trying to fool you into believing that the worst of the high prices is behind us, when in reality, the worst could still be to come.
Americans: I’m worried about data centers driving up my electricity bills and AI threatening my job security. Trump: If you don’t call AI Super Intelligence, you are the enemy!
I’m kicking off The People’s Forum For All — a town hall series built around three things that matter to everyone: accessibility, affordability, and accountability. I'll be travelling throughout South Carolina's 6th Congressional District to hear from you. See you there. https://t.co/NBisbnGBgG
New York Fed Report: Trump's tariffs added 2.9 percentage points to consumer goods inflation by February 2026. Without the tariffs, prices of goods would have fallen. New Canadian tariffs are expected to put additional upward pressure on prices. These tariffs continue to be a disaster for Americans, yet President Trump just keeps doubling down. https://t.co/LuOBtvS3vV
The Trump administration has spent nearly fifty billion taxpayer dollars on a senseless war that is raising your costs. Meanwhile, Trump’s sons could be potentially profiting from the war, as defense companies they’ve invested in receive new government contracts. The Trump administration and his family must be thoroughly investigated and held accountable for these conflicts of interest.
Three years ago today, Hamas carried out the deadliest attack in Israel’s history, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 more hostage. This heinous attack inflicted profound pain on Jewish communities in Israel and around the world. The innocent people whose lives were shattered on that day—and all of the far too many innocent people whose lives have been shattered on far too many days during this conflict—deserved to live their lives with security and dignity. In their honor, people of good will must rededicate ourselves to the difficult work of building a future of peace and freedom for Israelis and Palestinians alike.
I have no idea what Trump meant by “Let them take out Los Angeles,” but I do know this: his argument that high gas prices are a “small price to pay” to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon is complete nonsense. Iran didn’t have a nuclear weapon under the previous deal negotiated by Obama. We didn’t have high gas prices. Our military bases weren’t under bombardment. We weren’t running out of critical munitions. Those things are all a result of Trump tearing up that deal and choosing instead to start a war—a war that has already cost taxpayers nearly fifty billion dollars, with Americans paying even more at the pump. Trump will keep using the “small price to pay” line. Don’t fall for it.
I tried out Trump’s new AI website. I know this may shock people, but according to https://t.co/W0h3wfLn75, it seems as though Trump has been lying to people. https://t.co/SQ09VGnh1e
Absolutely no surprise that the President who was found liable for sexual abuse by a federal jury says he “feels badly” for the men being investigated by the NY Attorney General in the Cornell rape case. Despicable.
This is year 11 of Trump claiming he’s going to pass a new health care plan.
Some new changes to SNAP go into effect today thanks to Trump and Republicans’ “big, beautiful bill.” States are going to have to pick up more of the cost of administering the program, which could force some states to make additional cuts to benefits. This is no way to treat the American people as they already struggle with high costs.
Only Trump would trust what a dictator says about him over the opinions of the American people.
My thoughts are with everyone affected by this morning’s crash on I-95 over Lake Marion. Our amazing first responders acted swiftly, rescued those trapped, cared for the injured, and kept other motorists safe. I hope all those injured make a full and speedy recovery.
Seems Trump is jumpstarting grade inflation just as much as he has jumpstarted price inflation. Inflation should be 2%. Trump's grade on the economy should be an F.
Good to know. https://t.co/yZMLY6Bxxy
This president is such a thief. The “hundreds of billions of dollars” the government is taking in from tariffs is partially from the higher prices you are paying. And the $5,000 Trump’s promising right as the midterm elections are approaching, he’s been promising for over a year. He takes your money and then lies to you about giving it back. That’s Donald Trump.
You work hard and pay your taxes. Trump then uses that tax money to pay for illegal campaign ads promoting himself on national television. That’s where we are as a country.
The Trump administration will claim it developed this system to prevent noncitizens from voting in federal elections—a problem that is virtually nonexistent. In reality, this database will make it more difficult for eligible citizens to vote, especially recently naturalized Americans, by flagging them as ineligible and forcing them to prove their citizenship just weeks before midterm voting begins. We should be making it easier for all eligible Americans to securely vote. The Trump administration seems to be making it harder. https://t.co/WKzE1pkpN2
