My priority is to lower the cost of living in California. My opponent has done everything possible to raise it. He cast the deciding vote that has more than doubled the gas tax and recently said, "I do not regret my vote." https://t.co/v8yVZGzkZL
We reversed California's gas car ban and are working to reduce the gas tax. I'll fight policies that raise your costs whether they're from Sacramento or Washington. https://t.co/pVG25A8ro2
As a state legislator I voluntarily gave up $40,000 in per diem every year, returning the money to taxpayers. Richard Pan took about $200,000 in per diem despite living a few miles from the Capitol and used these taxpayer funds to buy himself a condo. https://t.co/WbuIK5BVuo
Richard Pan claims he would "crush" me if only voters knew our records. Yet he's refused to do TV debates or even sit-down interviews and has excluded media outlets from his campaign. It's almost as if he doesn't actually believe this. https://t.co/K9kLGu54SS
The reason our campaign has momentum and a chance to make history is I've focused on results. We secured the only BUILD grant in California, $22.5 million to fix local traffic, and received the national award for Best of Constituent Service. https://t.co/xLv2lebe2l
It was an honor to recognize Chief Reginald Williams of the Rocklin Fire Department on his retirement after 32 years in the fire service, including six years serving the City of Rocklin. Chief Williams has earned the respect and admiration of the firefighters he has led and the residents he has served. His tireless work has strengthened the Rocklin Fire Department and helped position it to meet the needs of the community for years to come. Thank you, Chief Williams, for your outstanding service and commitment to public safety. I wish you a happy and fulfilling retirement. Congratulations to Chief Billiter on assuming the role. I look forward to working with you!
It was great to be with the San Juan Water District and members of the community yesterday to celebrate the progress being made on the Kokila Reservoir Replacement Project. This is an important investment in our community’s water infrastructure, and I’m proud to have helped secure over a million dollars in federal funding to support this project. The Kokila Reservoir has served our community for more than 40 years, providing water storage for San Juan Water District and being an essential backup during emergencies. This project will not only modernize aging infrastructure, but will also help ensure the continued delivery of safe and reliable drinking water to the many customers it serves.
Got our ballots! I'll always put our communities first and answer only to you. I'd be honored to receive your vote. https://t.co/pMOl0ar31B
I am pleased to announce that my office is once again hosting the 2026 Congressional App Challenge. This competition is aimed at encouraging middle and high school students to learn how to code by creating their own applications. The challenge highlights the value of computer science and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education. Each app will be graded by an independent panel, and all awards will be commemorated with a Congressional Certificate of Recognition and will be displayed on my website. Last year, more than 4,600 original apps were submitted from students across the country that focused on real-world challenges ranging from health and accessibility to education, sustainability, and civic engagement. Additionally, the first-place winner(s) will receive an invitation to the #Houseofcode Celebration located in Washington, D.C., and the winning app will be: • Displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building • Featured on the House of Representatives’ website (https://t.co/O13iznmu3h) The deadline to submit an app is October 26 at 9:00am PT, and you can submit here: https://t.co/iDqLqBovNa See less
Gas prices are too high everywhere, but no place is comparable to California. At $6.36 per gallon, our prices are $2 above the national average and 73 cents higher than the next highest state. Californians are paying a very high price for overreaching policies in Sacramento. https://t.co/soBMWCc3Ln
It's been 72 hours and Governor Newsom still has not condemned Richard Pan banning the New York Times and KCRA from covering his campaign event. Freedom of the press should not be a partisan issue. https://t.co/ZpOW5qKbeG
Actually Governor, I did criticize the remarks 12 hours before you posted this. I haven’t seen anything from your candidate Richard Pan though. While we’re on the topic, have you condemned Richard Pan banning the New York Times and KCRA from covering his campaign?
Yesterday, I attended the Semper Fi Association of Lincoln and the Southwest Placer County Toys for Tots kickoff of the 79th annual toy collection season. Last year, 27,903 toys were collected and given to 12,480 children across Southwest Placer County and local cities through 17 charities and a family distribution event. This tremendous outpouring of supporting, to assure every child can experience the joy of the holiday season, says so much about the values of our area. Find out where you can drop off a toy here. https://t.co/OVcor6sh74
There is a coalition for common sense in California that spans Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. This is exactly the coalition that passed Prop. 36 in a landslide, restoring common sense public safety over the opposition of Newsom and the Sacramento establishment. https://t.co/0nwoq6dW2y
Democracy is on the ballot. https://t.co/DEpkCHP9It
Richard Pan is welcome to spend his time with national political figures at closed door fundraisers. I’m taking a different approach, meeting voters every day and hearing what they want in their representative. My campaign is about serving our local communities. https://t.co/2YqrVGu4Rn
Richard Pan’s attacks on the media continue.
Ohio just passed a bipartisan bill to suspend the gas tax. It is past time for California to do the same. I'm calling on Gov. Newsom and the Legislature to suspend our highest-in-the-nation 63 cent tax immediately.
A new poll shows the race is tied. If you believe California is worth fighting for, help us make history by supporting today's final deadline of the campaign. Thank you! https://t.co/2MTSqiE2GB https://t.co/mbL6JevhW9
A rapist sentenced to three life sentences is free in Sacramento County thanks to a new parole law. Richard Pan voted for it. I stand with the Democrat, Republican, and Independent leaders in law enforcement calling for these reckless parole laws to be repealed. https://t.co/sOTODNL1g7
Gas in California is now $6.36. That's 80 cents higher than second-place Hawaii. Californians know overreaching Sacramento policies are to blame. They also know there's plenty of blame to go around for high costs. They want representatives who will hold all sides accountable. https://t.co/IR29cdDfp6
Californians know why our state has $6.36 gas when everyone else pays much less. It's the overreaching taxes and regulations from Sacramento. They also know there's plenty of blame to go around for high costs and want representatives who will hold all sides accountable. https://t.co/0DQX6io3KF
California's budget went from $200 billion to $350 billion just during Newsom's tenure as Governor. Most Californians do not believe we need higher taxes or massive new sources of revenue to fix our state's problems. https://t.co/96BFTnNqC4
This is actually getting concerning. Has anyone seen Richard Pan? https://t.co/8JDhqmeTLW
If Richard Pan dislikes your politics, he falsely calls you an illegal immigrant. This is not the kind of person voters in our area want representing them in Congress. @elonmusk https://t.co/6aGc3wraB5
