Great to stop by SSAB for the Circular Steel Milestone, hosted together with Alter Trading and The Greenbrier Companies. It was exciting to see these three companies working side by side to advance steel recycling, strengthen partnerships, and support Iowa steel production. Iowa steel is thriving, and I will always fight to keep it that way.

I’m excited to see $24 million in federal funding through the DOT’s INFRA Truck Parking grant is headed to Iowa to improve I-80 rest areas and create 150 new truck parking spaces along I-80! I championed this project and sent a letter of support to USDOT to help secure this funding for Iowa. I’m proud to see this investment headed our way to improve safety and support our hardworking truck drivers.🚛

If you write the laws, you shouldn't cash in on them. I voted to ban congressional stock trading. My husband and I own ZERO individual stocks. Let's work together to end corruption in Washington.

Toured the University of Iowa’s Department of Physics & Astronomy and Iowa Spaceflight Laboratories to learn more about investments in facilities and student training made possible by the $1.5M NASA grant I helped secure through Community Project Funding. These investments are helping advance aerospace technology, innovation and education, strengthen Iowa’s workforce, and support the development of an aerospace corridor in Iowa.

Had a wonderful meeting with Eastern Iowa realtors from the Iowa Association of REALTORS to discuss the state of Iowa’s real estate market, interest rates, and legislative initiatives to increase housing supply and inventory. We also discussed fair housing, the National Flood Insurance Program, and the importance of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act in keeping Iowa homes in the hands of Iowa families.

Nothing says Iowa like a Casey's pizza! 🍕 Got to spend time with the Casey's team in Indianola, hear what it takes to serve Iowa communities every single day, and even try my hand at making their famous pizza. Great people, great pizza, and proof that Iowa businesses are built on hard work. I will always fight for the Iowans who keep our communities running.

Good news for Iowa farmers and America’s biofuel industry: the EPA is moving toward 100% reallocation of waived small refinery exemptions, helping protect demand for homegrown biofuels. I’ve written multiple letters urging President Trump, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, and Energy Secretary Chris Wright to ensure refinery exemptions don’t undermine the historic RFS volumes. Strong biofuel markets mean more opportunities for Iowa corn and soybean farmers, support for rural jobs, and greater American energy independence. 🇺🇸

For too long, Southeast Iowa has watched good manufacturing jobs disappear. Now, a $15 billion steel investment is bringing 1,750 permanent jobs and up to 6,000 construction jobs to our region. This is an opportunity to rebuild our manufacturing base and create a stronger future for Iowa families. Proud to have helped deliver it! 🇺🇸

Washington corruption has plagued our country for far too long. ZERO. That's how many individual stocks I own. ZERO. That's how many individual stocks my husband owns. Very few Members of Congress can say that. If you make the rules, you shouldn't be able to profit off them. It's long past time to ban stock trading in Congress, the Executive Branch, and the Supreme Court.

Early detection saves lives. I championed legislation to expand Medicare coverage for multi-cancer early detection screenings, and it was signed into law this year. That's what bringing a doctor's perspective to Congress looks like.
