The courage displayed aboard Flydubai Flight 1073 is nothing short of extraordinary. Israeli citizen Yaniv Hayun saw a plane full of innocent people in danger and acted without hesitation. His bravery, alongside the actions of Captain Smit Machchhar and others on board, helped save 174 lives, including four Americans. For nearly two decades, Christians in Nigeria have faced violent persecution from radical Islamic terrorist groups. Earlier this year, I wrote to Secretary Rubio, urging the State Department to take the necessary steps to protect vulnerable Christian populations. I commend the Administration’s actions to defend Christians in Nigeria and around the world. America must continue to be an unapologetic voice for those suffering for their faith and a forceful advocate for governments to uphold their responsibility to protect innocent life.

When I was in my 20s and early in my pastoral career, I took my first mission trip to Romania, which had been under Nicolae Ceaușescu’s communist dictatorship. That trip was very formative for me as a young man, and seeing how much control the government had over its people made me realize how grateful we should be as Americans. The next generation needs to know what communism has done to nations around the world and why we must never take our freedoms for granted. Thank you, @EDSecMcMahon, for making sure our students learn the truth. While the Left has tried to erase history, teaching it is the only way we keep from repeating it.

The Biden Administration’s rewrite of Title IX did immeasurable harm to women and girls by replacing biological sex with gender identity. Biological males do not belong in women’s locker rooms, on women’s teams, or competing in women’s sports.
