Nothing. On top of that, Russia continues to target Ukrainian civilians while Trump touts a ceasefire that apparently doesn’t actually exist. The NY Times reports that Ukraine’s military access to Starshield (the Pentagon-funded version of Starlink) was restricted overnight without warning. That’s what Ukraine uses to fly its drones. Ukrainian officials say the order came from Washington. The same night, Russia hit Ukraine with 39 ballistic missiles, the biggest barrage of the entire war. 600,000 in Kyiv lost power. This comes after Trump said Ukraine should get a new president. He said Putin wants a deal more than Zelensky. He gave Putin a (likely illegal) sanctions waiver to sell diesel, a total betrayal of Ukraine. And today Kash Patel reportedly landed in Moscow. I’ll say this as many times as I need to: it is ILLEGAL to use American taxpayer dollars to pay for political ads for a candidate or political party. But Trump spent roughly $19 MILLION of YOUR money on campaign ads promoting himself. And after a federal judge ordered him to stop, the ads kept running anyway. This is a war on free and fair elections. The fact that a single person can have this much influence and say in our elections is unthinkable. Let’s talk about how this Administration keeps screwing you over and wasting your money. On Kristi Noem’s last morning running DHS, before she got “fired” aka moved to a cushy new position within the Administration, the Department greenlit a deal to buy 5 planes from a donor of hers. And guess what? Taxpayers got fleeced. DHS paid way too much for every single plane. The company had bought two planes for about $41 million each. DHS paid $53 million for each one. Then there were two older Boeing 737s. Aviation experts estimated those planes to be worth $15-30 million. DHS paid $45 million each. And DHS paid $108 million for another luxury jet that had been on the market for less than $90 million. Why is the government purchasing these planes from a donor for millions more than they are worth? This Administration loves to brag about how great they are at making deals, but they aren’t making these deals for you. The Trump administration has some serious explaining to do, because there’s a ton of money missing and zero explanation for where it went. The US has collected an estimated $13 billion in Venezuelan oil revenue, and at least $10 billion of it is unaccounted for. And the independent audits that it promised Congress?
