Thank you, NJ-11. https://t.co/lbMGVb10Q0
Serving New Jersey’s 11th District in Congress has been the honor of a lifetime. I will continue that service, focused on lowering costs and expanding opportunity, as your 57th Governor. https://t.co/C0ShAgRnsL
Thank you, New Jersey. Next week, I intend to submit my resignation in order to serve as your 57th governor. To my House colleagues: Do not become a rubber stamp for an agenda to take food and healthcare away from kids. To the country: Stand strong. Don't give up the ship. https://t.co/uOr6dBmumH
Today, we recognize the 87th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the “night of broken glass,” where Nazis brutally attacked Jewish homes, businesses, and synagogues across Europe. As we remember these horrific acts, we recommit to fighting antisemitism and supporting the Jewish community here in New Jersey. I will continue to push for resources to promote Holocaust education and to ensure that houses of worship have the support they need so our friends and neighbors can pray peacefully, safely, and with pride.
Congratulations to Paul from Morris County School of Technology for winning the NJ-11 Congressional App Challenge! Selected as the winner by a panel of judges, Paul’s app, SoniSight, is an AI-powered web application designed to make ultrasound analysis clearer, more transparent, and more educational. The app allows users to upload or select from a set of built-in breast ultrasound images and receive an instant analysis of whether the scan appears normal or suspicious. Throughout her historic career, Nancy Pelosi has fought tirelessly for the American people. She championed countless victories for working families and centered her speakership on creating a brighter future — always for the children. The Speaker Emerita's legacy will continue to inspire generations of leaders ready to follow in her footsteps, and it has been an honor to serve alongside her. https://t.co/3uCKUokpte
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, around 316,000 women will be diagnosed with new cases of breast cancer, and half of those women will be under the age of 62. That's why now, more than ever, it's important to go for yearly checks, and watch out for the early signs of breast cancer.
Happy Halloween, New Jersey! Wishing all the trick-or-treaters and safe, fun, and spooky evening! 🎃 https://t.co/8bA4XtWqnN
The Trump administration is now cutting off food assistance to over 800,000 New Jerseyans, despite having funds to support the program for November. For Donald Trump and Washington Republicans, cruelty is the point. I will continue to demand that the U.S. Department of Agriculture use available funds to protect November SNAP benefits. If you or a loved one are in need of food assistance, please visit the link below for information on where to find help. https://t.co/W2k2PyyTNu

WASHINGTON, DC— Today, Representative Mikie Sherrill released the following statement regarding the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas:"I am deeply relieved that Israel and Hamas have reached an initial agreement to bring the remaining hostages held by Hamas home after more than two years in brutal captivity. Since Hamas’s October 7th terrorist attack, communities across the world, including in New Jersey, have come together every day to pray for and demand the safe return of the hostages. Today, those families and communities can know that there is a plan for their loved ones to finally come home."While there is still significant work to be done, this agreement is a vital starting point to permanently ending this conflict, protecting Israeli security with Hamas laying down its arms, and finally alleviating the famine and humanitarian crisis in Gaza. I urge all parties to maintain their commitments from this agreement and take bold action to continue the peace process. Too many people have experienced pain and suffering for too long for us to allow this war to continue for even one more day. Prime Minister Netanyahu and Hamas must allow unrestricted humanitarian and medical aid to reach civilians in Gaza immediately. Every delay means even more innocent civilians will die."The world is watching, and it is vital that President Trump continue every effort to negotiate the end of the war. American advocacy has been crucial to reaching this initial agreement, so I urge him and his administration to maintain America’s leadership, uphold America’s values, and do everything within their power to establish a lasting peace that will pave the way for a better future in the region. Donald Trump is targeting New Jersey. By halting funding for the Gateway Tunnel, he’s punishing Jersey families — from commuters to union workers. He may be willing to sabotage our economy to score political points, but I’ll fight tooth and nail against this MAGA attack. https://t.co/K6aVFpo3qI
As a Member of Congress, my job is to serve my constituents — and I’ll continue fighting to drive down costs and protect your healthcare. If Congress cannot perform its most basic duty for New Jerseyans and federal workers aren’t paid, then Members shouldn’t get paychecks either. Today, I requested my salary be withheld for the duration of this Washington Republican Shutdown.
