Big news in Conroe! @HerthaMetals just broke ground on a new plant that will make critical high-purity iron right here in Texas, instead of relying on China. That's a huge win for America's national security and for the future of Texas manufacturing. https://t.co/FKHEh4UTcE
Y’all come out and see me with these great patriots! https://t.co/1uUAcSoHlg

Power. Water. Internet. The essentials for Texans, delivered by the hardworking team at MidSouth Electric Co-op. Spent time with these folks in Montgomery talking about keeping it all running as our communities grow. https://t.co/V8BEs4HjUs
Three years ago today, Hamas carried out the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. We will never forget the lives taken that day, and we continue to pray for the families who still carry that loss. https://t.co/fn6afGOiSc
Nothing beats being back with the Conroe Chamber. Always a pleasure to spend time with the business owners and community leaders who make Montgomery County such a great place to live and work. https://t.co/YCTOBn3B2r

20 years ago, Navy SEAL Michael Monsoor threw himself on a grenade in Ramadi to save the men beside him. He chose his teammates over himself. Remembering a true American hero today.
The SAVES Act provides another tool in the toolbox for our vets when they return home. It is a straightforward, bipartisan, and commonsense bill with a life-changing impact.
Congratulations to @VenusAerospace on opening its new propulsion test stand at the Houston Spaceport. The future of next-generation propulsion is being built right here in Texas. https://t.co/D9RKbn74zT
Great @ConcordiaSummit panel redefining how we treat the brain — proactively building peak performance for our workforce, our warfighters, and our society in the age of AI. https://t.co/VPLxi6zb1c
Flood mitigation in the Houston region has remained a top priority, and the House passage of the Water Resources Development Act of 2026 represents meaningful progress toward that goal. I appreciate @RepFletcher's continued partnership on this effort.
The Army's decision to deactivate the ECABs, including the 158th Aviation Regiment in Conroe, Texas, is an unacceptable gamble with our nation's readiness and puts the future of hundreds of soldiers and civilians in doubt. This decision cuts critical air assault, medical evacuation (MEDEVAC), and emergency response capabilities before a replacement is ready. Our troops deserve better, and the communities that rely on these critical capabilities deserve better. Congress is going to press forward to correct this mistake, restore these essential capabilities, and ensure our soldiers, their families, and our communities have the support and protection they deserve.
On this day, we remember the 2,977 Americans who lost their lives and the first responders who died running into catastrophic danger for their fellow brothers and sisters. America showed our true colors 25 years ago — how much we love each other. 9/11 is not just a day we remember, because we remember it every day. God bless America and thank you everyone for your patriotism.
Spent this morning at the Montgomery County Veteran Flag Park 9/11 Remembrance event. Never forget. https://t.co/ZQC7oBe5wF
Great visit to Oleon's Conroe facility, turning natural oils into esters and blends used across drilling fluids, lubricants, and more. Proud to see this kind of domestic manufacturing and good-paying jobs growing right here at home. https://t.co/1F0829VyJM
100 suspected cartel drones downed in August. We're using every tool at our disposal to keep Americans and their families safe. https://t.co/j9Flsthrn3
A lot to discuss in this week’s update. Let’s get into it. https://t.co/p7ypiPDwnU
September is National Suicide Prevention Month. I encourage every American to check on the veterans, friends, family members, and neighbors in their lives. Sometimes a conversation, a phone call, or simply being there can make a difference. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out and seek help. You do not have to fight this battle alone.
Edouard has strengthened overnight and a Hurricane Watch is now in effect for the northwest Gulf Coast, with landfall expected later today. Finish preparations now: secure property, know your evacuation route, and follow local officials' guidance. https://t.co/5wMrv4nR9Y
Great visit to RoyOMartin's OSB facility in Corrigan. This plant employs 200 Texans and is in the middle of a major expansion that will bring 123 more jobs to our community. https://t.co/X1JSjUjx3m
Visited the San Antonio Water System Brackish Groundwater Desalination Facility to learn how they are providing our state with 10 to 12 million gallons of safe, clean drinking water each day through an advanced reverse osmosis process. https://t.co/pOvjncfwKb
