There’s a long list of victims killed or injured because of Hochul’s sanctuary and bail laws including Laken Riley, 83-year-old Veteran Richard Williams shoved on subway tracks & killed as well as NYPD Detective Mercedes stabbed 10x. Perpetrators had prior arrests but released.

I’m proud to have delivered federal funding to strengthen our transportation and infrastructure across Staten Island and Brooklyn — from our ferries and public transit to roads, bridges, sewer upgrades and critical maritime infrastructure. We’re investing in the projects our community relies on every day and improving our infrastructure for years to come.

Debated myself at the Dyker Heights Civic Association. My opponent did not bother to show up to the only debate in the district this year but I was happy to share my record of delivering tax cuts, public safety, border security & federal funding for Brooklyn & Staten Island. https://t.co/CVg3r0GaNn

Common sense when it comes to immigration is to deport criminals and offer legal pathways for those who follow the rules and want to contribute. https://t.co/qDtPHiYzhd

Tonight’s debate proved, once again, that Bruce Blakeman has the experience and policies needed to stop the downward spiral of New York State. For far too long, Governor Hochul and her far-left allies have battered residents of our state with higher taxes, burdensome regulations, and the deconstruction of our criminal justice system through bail reform and ‘Sanctuary State’ policies. With his experience as Nassau County Executive and the commonsense solutions he offered in tonight’s debate, Bruce Blakeman showed that he has what it takes to be our next governor. As governor he would: -- Eliminate taxes on the first $50,000 of income for single filers and on the first $100,000 for married couples. -- Rescind New York’s bail reform and "Raise the Age" laws, viewing them as a risk to law abiding citizens. -- End New York's sanctuary status and allow local police to cooperate with ICE. -- Cut the taxes and delivery charges that are up to 70% of our utility bills. Governor Hochul simply doesn’t get it. When the electricity rate in New York is 60% higher than the national average, it is unsustainable for residential and business users alike. When the tax burden in our state is the second highest in the nation, it kills the American Dream; driving businesses and residents out of the Empire State. When Governor Hochul stands with a gaggle of far-left politicians, including Mayor Mamdani, as they defend a dangerous illegal alien with a criminal record and gang affiliation while bashing law enforcement for doing their job, she puts all law-abiding New Yorkers and law enforcement at risk. The choice is clear; vote @NassauExec Bruce Blakeman for Governor. With three weeks until Election Day, let’s get out there and make it happen!

Early detection saves lives, and women should have access to the screenings they need. That’s why I’m urging @CMSGov to revisit a Biden-era decision that stopped coverage for certain breast sonograms. https://t.co/Ibqal3uRTu

Grateful that NYPD Detective Jose Mercedes is recovering well from his 10 stab wounds. The illegal immigrants with criminal histories who did this should NOT be in our country, let alone NYC streets, but sadly it’s the norm in Kathy Hochul’s New York. https://t.co/2DAa4AWUbU

Press Release
Malliotakis Urges CMS to Improve Medicare Coverage for Breast Cancer Screenings for Women with Dense Breast Tissue

(STATEN ISLAND, NY) — Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) sent a letter to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz urging the agency to review and update Medicare coverage policies for supplemental breast ultrasounds for women with dense breast tissue. The request follows a change in how Medicare coverage policies were interpreted under the Biden Administration in 2024. In her letter, Malliotakis raised concerns over reports of Medicare coverage denials for supplemental breast ultrasounds, which can help detect cancer that may be missed during traditional mammograms. She urged CMS to review its policies to ensure women have access to additional screenings when recommended by their physicians. “Early detection saves lives, and during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are highlighting the importance of ensuring women have access to the screenings and care they need,” said Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis. “Last week, I visited Staten Island University Hospital to discuss the importance of early detection and the advances being made in breast cancer prevention and treatment. Part of that effort is making sure women can access additional screenings when recommended by their doctors, especially those with dense breast tissue, where cancer can be more difficult to detect through traditional mammograms. That's why I'm urging Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to review its current policies and address coverage barriers that could prevent women from receiving these potentially lifesaving screenings.”
