Peanut farmers are hurting because China is no longer buying our peanuts. The Chinese purchasing of our peanuts has fallen from $75 million in 2024 to less than $20 million in 2025 because of Trump's tariff war. The Iran war has also led to a skyrocketing of diesel costs and equipment cost. We need to push to open markets in China for our farmers. That is why I visited peanut farmers this week in Dawson, GA.
