Scott Lingamfelter and I go back to 2005, when I walked into his General Assembly office to tell him I was running for the House of Delegates. He’s a combat veteran, a former Delegate, and a friend, and I’m honored to have his endorsement. Scott wrote: “Rob stands out as an accomplished member of Congress who speaks clearly, to the point, and works tirelessly for concrete solutions.” He also wrote about the work that matters most to our region. That includes strengthening our armed forces on the Armed Services Committee. It also includes standing up for Virginia’s watermen, hunters, anglers, and the small businesses that depend on them. Thank you, Scott. Early voting is open now, and Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.

Expanding access to high-quality, affordable health care remains one of my top priorities. I enjoyed touring Richmond Heart and Vascular Associates and learning more about how their cardiac surgery center is providing advanced cardiac care to patients in Hanover and surrounding communities.

Murderers. Rapists. Child predators. Abigail Spanberger's parole board has freed 38 inmates in just 6 months, more than Youngkin's board did in ALL of 2025, at 10x the release rate. One raped a child under 13 while on parole for TWO prior rapes. Youngkin's board said NO. Spanberger's board called it a "technical violation," said 3 years was enough, and let him out without a single no vote. There is nothing "technical" about raping a child. Soft-on-crime Democrats are dangerous for Virginia. https://t.co/PS12Z4Suuh

That experience still shapes my priorities today: ✅ Protect access 💵 Address costs 🏥 Strengthen providers 🌾 Protect rural health care 📍 Keep quality care close to home I wrote more about my approach here 👇 https://t.co/Ju5S3PUUTr

I'm proud to be endorsed by Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES). America's need for electricity is climbing faster than it has in decades, and families and businesses here in Virginia's First District are counting on energy that's clean, reliable, and affordable. Meeting that demand takes an all-of-the-above approach to domestic energy production, plus faster permitting to get it built. As CRES chair James Dozier put it, it also takes "energy policy durable enough to outlast any one Congress." I'll keep working on commonsense energy solutions built to last. Thank you to CRES for the support! https://t.co/yNtewNMzvE

Public safety is on the ballot, and judgment matters. The men and women of law enforcement have worked side by side with both Shannon Taylor and me. They know who has earned their trust, and it isn't Shannon Taylor. Thank you, Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie, for standing with me and for 37 years of service to our community. I've had law enforcement's back my entire time in Congress, and that will never change.

Strong federal and local partnerships are critical to advancing economic development across the Middle Peninsula. I appreciated joining the Middle Peninsula Planning District Commission and U.S. Economic Development Administration to discuss federal resources, grant opportunities, and ways we can work together to support infrastructure, workforce development, and economic growth across the region.

I am committed to protecting Americans’ Second Amendment rights and am honored to have recently received a Dean’s List Recognition from @NSSF. I believe it is necessary to protect an individual’s fundamental right to keep and bear arms. We must be deliberate in improving public safety while ensuring that we defend citizens' constitutional rights to purchase, possess, and use firearms for lawful purposes. I will continue working in Congress to defend our constitutional freedoms. Thank you to NSSF for this recognition. Read more here: https://t.co/JHYRbxyoRR
