I enjoyed visiting the Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas yesterday and hearing from the board about the job market in our region. Their team is helping veterans land jobs with local employers and giving parents the child care support they need to stay in the workforce. #WheresRon
Today we celebrate the birthday of one of Kansas’ favorite sons, Dwight D. Eisenhower. Ike never lost his heartland values as he led the Allied Forces to victory in World War II, kept our nation at peace as president, built the Interstate Highway System and much more. He said the proudest thing he could claim was that he was from Abilene. 136 years later, we still like Ike.
We had a great start to the KSGOP Bus Tour tonight in Wichita at our Estes for Congress/4th District Headquarters! Kansans are ready to vote for Republicans, and winning starts right here in south central Kansas! (1/2) https://t.co/fgQprSKrwB
(2/2) I was also honored to receive a surprise award this evening – the 2026 Pioneers of Prosperity from Americans for Prosperity. https://t.co/E15nWcdqtb
This week the Army released its report on the Flight 5342 collision. It confirmed what we knew from the NTSB’s investigation, that systemic failures in our aviation system led to this senseless tragedy. The flight originated from my hometown of Wichita, and I am heartbroken that several Kansans were among the victims. No family should ever have to endure such heartbreak. I will continue working with my colleagues in the House and Senate to pass aviation safety legislation to ensure a tragedy like this never happens again.
Yesterday I participated in the ribbon cutting celebrating the opening of The Residence at Heritage West in Andover. Thanks to the collaboration of so many of our state and local partners, more Andover seniors will now have a safe, affordable community to call home. https://t.co/prGR1R2ZjF
My R&D expensing provision in Republicans' Working Families Tax Cuts is creating jobs. At today's @WaysandMeansGOP field hearing, a manufacturer told me it has allowed her company to hire additional chemists and research staff. https://t.co/KVDzVTGyIM
The Kingman County GOP hosted a great dinner last night as we are less than a month from Election Day. A lot of enthusiastic Republicans ready to vote red! https://t.co/yYhbGbRrhY
Last week I joined the Pachyderm Club in Wichita to talk about protecting Social Security, Republicans' Working Families Tax Cuts and cracking down on fraud. Thank you for having me! https://t.co/kbJuqz3IRl
ICYMI: A new ad started last week – Born Saving. The ad follows Scarlett from birth to leaving the nest, and her Trump Account that grows with her. I was pleased to support this and other provisions that invest in everyday Kansans. https://t.co/Tzc41tZ06Y
It was great to join with so many Kansans at the Greater Andover Days parade today! https://t.co/N8CtR48euG
Happy National Manufacturing Day! Thank you to the talented men and women who have kept Wichita the Air Capital of the World for nearly a century and helped make America the leader in aviation. https://t.co/yfwBeGPNIH
More than 60 million children now have Trump Accounts, made possible by President Trump and Republicans’ historic Working Families Tax Cuts. We’re giving the next generation a head start toward financial independence. https://t.co/vnr5NFINub
This morning at Miracle Signs, I was honored to receive the endorsement of the Wichita Regional Chamber and U.S. Chamber. It was great to be at a local success story like Miracle, and a reminder of how critical it is that we have policies that promote job and economic growth. https://t.co/23NFkXAbVH
The Kansas Geological Society has released details about the upcoming forum. I'm looking forward to discussing the policies that matter to families, energy producers, landowners and Kansans. https://t.co/FCI2GU1cr7
President Trump just made dealing with the federal government a lot easier. https://t.co/hTiRcDRRVT gives you one place to get answers instead of hunting through agency websites. Later this year, you'll be able to enroll in Medicare or renew a passport there too.
Each and every life is precious. Today marks 50 years of the Hyde Amendment, which keeps taxpayer dollars from paying for abortions. It’s estimated to have saved more than 2.6 million lives. Taxpayers should never be forced to fund the abortion industry, and I’ll keep working with President Trump and Congress to make sure they aren’t.
ICYMI: Last week my first television commercial of this cycle started. In Congress, I've fought for our Air Capital of the World, ... (1/2) https://t.co/79uIJ2XdSR
(2/2) ... introducing the Aviation Manufacturing Jobs Protection Act, which was critical in keeping jobs in Wichita during COVID, and my bipartisan R&D legislation that keeps research and development here in Kansas.
Our hospital leaders see every day what it takes to care for patients in Wichita and in rural Kansas. I appreciated hearing from the Kansas Hospital Association at a roundtable earlier this month, where we discussed the Rural Health Transformation Program and policies to help hospitals better serve their communities. We wrapped up with a tour of Wesley Children's Hospital to see how their team cares for kids and families across south central Kansas. I'll continue partnering with our hospitals so patients in the 4th District have access to high-quality care.
The deadline to apply for a U.S. Service Academy nomination is in less than one week on Oct. 1. Young men and women from Kansas’ 4th District who are interested in serving their country, receiving a full-ride scholarship, and getting a world-class education are encouraged to apply at https://t.co/IiaTuz1ikZ.
Kansas plays a critical role in energy policy for our region and the country. That's why I'm pleased to accept an invite from the Kansas Geological Society to participate in a 4th District Congressional Energy Forum. (1/2)
(2/2) It's an honor to fight for the oil and gas producers and families of south central Kansas, and I look forward to highlighting the distinction between my steadfast support for this critical industry and a West Coast agenda that would shut down family businesses in our state.
Kansas veterans earned their benefits, and they shouldn't have to wait months to receive them. The VA has processed more than 3 million disability claims this fiscal year, faster than ever before, and cut the average wait time nearly in half. If you live in Kansas' 4th District and are having trouble with a VA claim, my office may be able to help. Call: 316-262-8992 https://t.co/NFOGyiOE7w
Great news for Wichita travelers! @FlyICT was just awarded a $1 million federal grant to help bring more nonstop service to the East Coast. Kansans have wanted this for a long time, and I was proud to support the airport's application as a first step to greater air service development. https://t.co/aQ5VDT0dc5
