EFTA00151234 mentions SOME coconspirators, not A coconspirator. Why did @FBIDirectorKash say there’s no evidence of coconspirators? It also has a redaction [subpoenaed] that conceals the existence of other Epstein files which haven’t been released. Where are those subpoenas? https://t.co/IbDGV7QIQT
“We’re not rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, we’re putting coal in the boiler and setting a course for the iceberg.” I said the so-called Big Beautiful Bill would increase the deficit, exacerbate inflation, and increase the price we pay to finance our debt. I was right. https://t.co/MejtuYtpTP
@barnes_law 🧐🤔
@JDVance If you’re a farmer, most of your fuel is already tax-free red-dye stuff (for farm equipment). This means you can now put it in your on-road truck, if you know where the pumps are and if you aren’t worried that 6 months or a year from now you’ll fail a red-dye test.
I just introduced the Red Meat Inspection Exemption Act with @chelliepingree to allow small farmers to slaughter and process their own livestock for direct-to-consumer sales without federal interference. This bill keeps Trump’s promise by reducing regulations on producers. https://t.co/9TW4x4uDeO
@BuenoForMiami @MarindaVannoy1 🎯
@WhiteHouse @PanhandleLadee Hey @grok, if I put dyed diesel in a pickup truck, how long into the future will that truck test positive for using the untaxed fuel, and therefore be subject to fines for evading the tax after this executive order expires?
Simon Andriesz, the British banker who uncovered 2018 emails linking Howard Lutnick to Jeffrey Epstein’s Adfin investment and took them to House Oversight, has died at age 57. BBC reported his findings. Lutnick later admitted to visiting the island but not the business dealings.
@Cernovich There’s a bill for that. https://t.co/W3QsF6ewve https://t.co/MR939zLiTE
@CkWeather No, we took two and a half weeks off in addition to October recess. And with R’s likely to lose control, why wouldn’t we go in session and do these things before we do?
If lobbyists didn’t control DC, the House & Senate would be in session tomorrow passing bills to re-establish country of origin labeling for beef & pork and to empower local meat processors to compete with the meat monopoly. But POTUS and his cabinet and Congress are captive.
@wealthissimple I can’t believe I’m replying to a brainless troll, but here’s me during Biden’s presidency, sharing a speech I made during Obama’s presidency… on this very topic.
@davis_eaj @chelliepingree @SecRollins She doesn’t really have the authority, other than through selective enforcement of existing laws (prioritize big packers). I’d support her wholeheartedly in such an effort, but she has not done that and has no intention of doing that. The big ag lobbyists are running the show.
@QuentinGenX @chelliepingree Our PRIME Act creates a geographic exemption (intra state) and isn’t based on numbers. This new legislation will create an exemption based on a numerical limit. But exemptions to existing laws are still a reduction in existing laws.
@aspen_lindsay So you’re right @aspen_lindsay. Instead of capping visas from countries, it would have allowed more visas from those countries with skilled workers in exchange for fewer visas from countries without skilled workers.
Why are they even giving these shots to kids? https://t.co/cUqk4yHVmg
@SamLlewell32638 @MaryBowdenMD Are you denying that some kids have died from the COVID shots? Or are you saying the risk of serious side effects is worth it, but we shouldn’t let people know there are risks?
@waysandmeans71 @voteblue8888 @MaryBowdenMD Almost died of flu in spite of taking the flu shot?
@aspen_lindsay Ha, he’s blocked me because he’s lying. The bill replaced diversity quota visa slots (setting aside a number of visas for applicants from various countries regardless of skills) with employment-skills based visas. It didn’t increase the number of visas.
@DeborahHar62490 @chelliepingree Beg your pardon. His EO didn’t happen and this legislation is an up-hill-battle because there are lobbyists in DC.
@BruceBa21417771 @chelliepingree Don’t buy they them their cattle if you don’t trust it. Also, you can’t get screw worm by eating the meat, especially not if you cook it. A fly must lay its eggs in an open wound on your body.
All my hard work has finally paid off! https://t.co/d2Kppa38eX
The executive order to allow on farm processing didn’t happen, so next week @chelliepingree and I will be introducing legislation to allow sales of meat directly to consumers from small farmers who process a limited number of animals on their farms. https://t.co/qis3GUt1OQ
@ScanticAntiques @chelliepingree When we say we need a larger herd, we mean the United States inventory of cattle needs to be greater, not that individual farmers need to carry more cattle. Direct to consumer makes for more farmers in business and less going out of business, which makes for a bigger U.S. herd.
@ScanticAntiques @chelliepingree I appreciate your concern for farmers but accountability is a feature, not a bug, of this model. Farmers concerned their products will hurt consumers won’t sell direct. For instance, orchards sell fresh fruit directly to consumers and exist in the face of liability every day.
