Indian Americans for Suozzi! I’m so grateful for the friendship and support of so many Indian American families over the years. Thank you to the more than 500 community members who joined us last night to support my re-election. https://t.co/iRSoXc5yEV
ROAD TO 250: Founders Close to Home Did you know that one of George Washington's Revolutionary War spies was a woman from Long Island? Anna Smith Strong, of Setauket, is believed to have helped the Culper Spy Ring by hanging laundry on her clothesline to send coded signals about secret meeting locations. Her story reminds us that the fight for American independence wasn't just waged on battlefields. It happened right here in our own backyard!
🇺🇸 DEADLINE FAST APPROACHING! Attention all #NY03 high school students and graduates under the age of 23 interested in attending one of our nation’s Service Academies, my office is NOW accepting Service Academy Nominations. The deadline for submitting a nomination packet to the Glen Cove District Office is October 31, 2026. https://t.co/ysCd2uLyLE
Protecting Long Island's water has always been one of my top priorities. I've worked to bring federal funding back to our district to clean up our bays, improve wastewater infrastructure, and remove harmful forever chemicals from our drinking water. Between 2024 and 2026, nearly 6 million oysters were planted in Manhasset Bay, Hempstead Harbor, and Oyster Bay/Cold Spring Harbor using federal funding I secured. That includes 2 million oysters in Manhasset Bay alone! I've also secured $1.092 million for wastewater improvements that will help protect Manhasset Bay, and millions more to help local water districts address PFAS contamination. Clean water is essential to our health, our environment, and our quality of life. I'll keep fighting to bring our federal tax dollars home to protect it. https://t.co/fu0I4UEjKV
ROAD TO 250: Founding Stories Close to Home Who knew laundry could help win a revolution? Legend has it that Anna Smith Strong of Setauket used her clothesline to send secret signals to George Washington's Culper Spy Ring during the Revolutionary War. Just one more fascinating piece of Long Island history and a reminder that everyday people played extraordinary roles in America's fight for independence!
“Non sibi sed patriae” — “Not for self, but for country.” Happy 251st Birthday to the United States Navy! ⚓🇺🇸 Today, we honor the generations of sailors who have served our nation with courage, dedication, and sacrifice. Thank you to all who serve, past and present, for keeping America safe and strong.
Keeping Pope Leo XIV in my thoughts and prayers as he recovers from lung surgery. I'm thankful to hear the procedure was successful and join the faithful around the world in wishing him a full and speedy recovery. May God watch over him and grant him strength, comfort, and healing. 🙏🏻

Happy Columbus Day! 🇮🇹🇺🇸 As a first-generation Italian American and a member of the Congressional Italian American Caucus, I am proud of my heritage and the contributions Italian Americans have made to our great nation. My father, Joseph A. Suozzi, lived an extraordinary American Dream. Born in Ruvo del Monte, Italy, he immigrated to the United States as a child, served as a navigator in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, and went on to serve as Mayor of Glen Cove and a Justice of the New York State Supreme Court’s Appellate Division. To honor stories like his and preserve the contributions of generations of Italian Americans, I’ve introduced legislation to establish a National Museum of Italian American History and Culture. My father’s story is one of countless immigrant success stories that helped build America. Let’s honor that legacy by fighting discrimination, expanding opportunity, and keeping the American Dream alive for future generations.
Viva Italia! Happy Columbus Day to my fellow New Yorkers and Americans celebrating the traditions, culture, and contributions of generations of Italian Americans who came before us. Proud to celebrate my Italian heritage today. https://t.co/iOrNSep7K3
Sempre Avanti! 🇮🇹🇺🇸 What a great day marching up Fifth Avenue at New York City's 82nd Annual Columbus Day Parade! Always proud to celebrate my Italian American heritage alongside thousands of New Yorkers honoring the traditions, culture, and contributions of generations of Italian Americans. Viva Italia!

It was great to sit down for dim sum with so many friends from the Chinese-American community in Douglaston this weekend! At a time when so many forces try to divide us, coming together at events like this serves as a powerful reminder that our diversity is our nation’s greatest strength.
As an Italian-American, I feel a special responsibility to treat immigrants with respect and dignity in this country that gave me so much. With our ancestors having faced tremendous discrimination, it's up to us to fight for others working to secure the American Dream. We can, and must, lead with compassion and common sense: secure our border, fix our broken asylum system, and treat people like human beings. Thank you to the Italian-American Political Action Committee for endorsing my re-election campaign!
Campaigning with everyday people!! We’ve got to live together!! 🎶 https://t.co/e76zjSUZ2j

I’ve known Harry Arlin-Arnstein for many years, and his remarkable story continues to inspire me. At 99, Harry is a concentration camp survivor and World War II veteran. How wonderful that more than 400 schoolchildren from the Czech Republic and Slovakia sent him letters of gratitude after learning his story. Harry, you’ve earned every one of those thank-yous! https://t.co/T77cyoiEnu
